January Zazenkai at Wellspring

Join us for a “day of Zen” at Wellspring Conference Center in Gaithersburg. We have space for a few people to join the Winter Sesshin for a day of silent practice. Your day will start with an orientation followed by silent breakfast with the sesshin participants to give you a chance to feel the stillness and oneness of the sesshin. The rest of the day will include zazen, kinhin, teisho (talks by Zen teachers), chant practice, and an opportunity for dokusan, a one-on-one meeting with a teacher.
Participants must arrive promptly at 7:45 for orientation. Breakfast and lunch will be provided and are included in the registration cost. The zazenkai will follow the sesshin schedule and end at 5:00 PM.
The standard registration price is $65, and the discounted rate is $40. We offer the discounted rate, which covers only your superficial costs, to make the event more affordable. Registration will be open through December 12.
Our refund policy for this event is 50% up to November 30. No refunds after December 1.
